Arrival in Quito / Papallacta

Welcome to Ecuador! After landing in Quito, you will be met by your English-speaking guide and transferred to your hotel. Located in the majestic Andes Mountains at 2,850 meters above sea level, Quito is one of the highest capital cities in the world. The journey continues through the western Andes, reaching an altitude of approximately 4,000 meters. You will visit the beautiful volcanic hot springs of Papallacta, ideal for relaxing and rejuvenating body and mind. Accommodation in Papallacta.

Amazon rainforest

Today you'll enjoy a very special adventure: the 360° Amazonian Full Day. You can choose between tubing down the tranquil Arajuno River or a relaxing canoe trip before arriving at the animal rescue center. This will be an excellent opportunity to observe local wildlife and contribute to its well-being. Later, in a motorized canoe, you'll visit Anaconda Island, where you'll meet an indigenous community and learn about blowgun techniques, traditional dances, the extraction of agave fibers, and the preparation and tasting of chicha, a fermented beverage made from cassava. Lunch will be served on the riverbank. Afterward, you'll search for the emblematic hoatzin and observe caimans in the swamp. Return to the lodge by motorized canoe. Accommodation in the Amazon.

Papallacta / Amazon rainforest

Venture into the lush Amazon basin, enjoying breathtaking viewpoints overlooking one of the most biodiverse regions on the planet. Along the way, you'll visit the mysterious Jumandy Caves, where you'll learn stories and legends of the indigenous culture. Upon arrival at the lodge, you'll be welcomed with the traditional guayusa brew and discover the incredible variety of flora and fauna of the rainforest. In the evening, a guided hike, using flashlights and rubber boots, will take you to observe reptiles, insects, birds, and the legendary paiche fish. Accommodation in the Amazon.

Amazon rainforest

In the morning, you'll enjoy a short hike and a relaxing canoe ride on a lagoon in a nature reserve. A local guide will show you how to live in harmony with the rainforest as you discover the region's diverse flora and fauna. In the afternoon, the experience continues with a presentation and tasting of cacao, considered "the food of the gods." You'll participate in an interactive cacao-making activity, enjoying hot chocolate, fruit, and a chocolate face mask. Accommodation in the Amazon.

Amazon / Quito / Galapagos

Transfer to Quito airport for your flight to the Galápagos Islands. Upon arrival in San Cristóbal, one of the archipelago's most biodiverse islands, a private transfer will take you to your hotel. In the afternoon, you will visit the interpretation center, where you will learn about the history, nature, and ecology of the islands. Afterward, you can enjoy the warm sands of Playa Mann, where you can swim alongside playful sea lions. Experience the Galápagos nightlife as well. Accommodation in Puerto Baquerizo.

Galapagos / San Cristóbal Highlands

Explore the community of El Progreso and El Junco Crater Lake with your naturalist guide, a freshwater haven where frigatebirds come to clean their wings. Visit Cerro Colorado and its giant tortoise breeding center, where you can observe these fascinating creatures up close at different stages of their development and learn about the conservation efforts to protect them and ensure their survival. End the day at Puerto Chino, a beautiful beach where you can spot marine iguanas, blue-footed boobies, and sea lions. Accommodation in Puerto Baquerizo Moreno.

Galapagos / Trails and coasts

The day begins with a hike to Cerro Tijeretas, where Charles Darwin first landed from the Beagle. Along the way, you'll have the opportunity to observe numerous Galapagos finches. From the summit, you'll enjoy spectacular views. On the descent, you'll have the option to stop at Darwin Bay, a small, protected cove considered one of the best spots for shore snorkeling in the Galapagos. It's common to see sea lions, green turtles, marine iguanas, tropical fish, and occasionally, rays and reef sharks. Afterward, you can take a swim at Playa Carola and visit La Lobería, a haven for sea lions and marine iguanas and a popular surfing spot. Accommodation in Puerto Baquerizo.
